After having watched The Plan, I’ve become convinced that the Cylons were actually just following the leadership of one Bender Bending Rodriguez: “Kill all humans” followed by the occasional “I love you, meatbag.”
ST:TNG looks pretty good in HD so far - very faithful to the original edit, and in no case a step backwards. Very pleased with the one VFX retcon I've noticed (phaser beam coming from a phaser bank instead of the captain's yacht). As with anything not intended to be HD, the focus can be soft at times, and there's a lot of film grain/noise in soft light.
